Dream Chaser
The Ethan Abitz x Glamping Hub Road Trip
On Friday the 8th, I left my home in New Hampshire for a three month long road trip adventure out West. Being from New England, I haven’t really ventured out much, and have never spent three months on the road by myself, that’s for sure. But it has been my dream to get out to the Western part of the United States for quite a bit of time. And now, I am finally getting the chance to explore out there. Throughout this road trip I am going to be working with Glamping Hub, showcasing a bunch of their amazing and unique accommodations, all throughout the West.
Last summer I spent two weeks driving across Canada with my dad, and it was an unbelievable time, however, way too short-lived. This time, I am spending three months exploring and adventuring. I will be honest, as I want to be as transparent and open during this trip as I can be, something that is new to me, but I am a bit nervous. Like I stated prior, I have never really lived on my own that much. Two years in college, though that wasn’t necessarily by myself. However, any and all fears that I have are completely dwarfed by my excitement for this trip. I am pursuing my dream of being a professional photographer, traveling all over, working with companies and brands to create content for them. From this trip I hope to garner some more awareness of my work and what I can do, and become a full-time freelance photographer.

2. Tiny House
Coconio National Forest. Flagstaff, arizona
This tiny house is the perfect way to enjoy the peace of the outdoors, while being right outside the city center of Flagstaff. On site, glampers can enjoy an amazing Finnish four-person barrel sauna, horseshoe pitch, two mountain bikes, a gas grill, spare lanterns, and firewood—the perfect vacation rental with access to the Coconino National Forest. What else could you ask for??
3. Log Cabin
Flagstaff, Arizona
This upscale cabin with luxury amenities is just the perfect spot for families and groups! The best part of this is that your furry friend can come along for the trip too! Just 6 miles from Flagstaff, glampers can find many nearby stunning hikes or even go golfing as well!
4. Caravan
San fernando valley. Chatsworth, california
This super stellar, 1954 vintage trailer offers glampers stunning views of West San Fernando Valley - scenic canyon landscapes, rolling hills, and the dazzling energy of the city. Nearby outdoor adventures include Santa Susana Pass State Historic Park, the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve, and Stoney Point world-class rock climbing. Perfect location and a perfect getaway.
5. Treehouses
Redwoods. Big sur, California
Located in the Santa Cruz Mountains, these 2 cabins are located on the same property but are completely unique from one another, giving glampers very different but altogether amazing stays. The Serenity cabin was given its name for the peace and quiet—and cool shade, great for summer—that the surrounding redwoods provide. Morning Lite is so named for its tree house-esque style with no redwood canopy above it, which will offer glampers an ample amount of the welcoming, California morning sunlight every day.
6. cabin
Portland, Oregon
This simple and rustic cabin is everything that you need to enjoy the outdoors, and more. There are countless rivers around the property that are great for a relaxing afternoon spent just enjoying the calming flow of the river. A creek borders the southern edge of the property and provides relief during hot summer days. The site is also close to the scenic Columbia River Gorge with tons of hiking, biking, and places to eat. Secluded, yet close enough to everything you may need.
7. Rustic Cabin
Rhododendron, Oregon
Whether you enjoy sitting outside on the expansive wooden deck, or prefer curling up in front of a toasty, wood-burning stove, this cabin is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. There is a cascading waterfall located on the corner of this property, which glampers can reach by foot. Waterfalls and cozy cabins… sounds like the perfect spot to me.
8. Vintage cabin
Vashon island, washington
This sweet, little camping cabin provides guests with only the basics, but lots of throwback charm. This place is truly secluded in nature! A one-hour journey via the Vashon Ferry will bring guests to the rental. Not to fear though, if you are in need of a community downtown, Vashon, which is known as the quaint and artsy hub of this forested island, is only 20 minutes by car!
