First Time in the southwest
A-Frame Cabin
My first stop on my road trip with Glamping Hub was in a small little town called Hildale, located on the southern border of Utah. I could not have been more excited. Not only was I getting to see the Southwest for the first time, but I was also getting to stay in this incredible A-Frame cabin! But anyways, my first time in the Southwest could not have gone any better. I didn’t really have any expectations going into it, as I have never been and have only seen pictures of it. But my goodness, did it blow me away. I got the chance to stay in one of the COOLEST A-Frame Cabins outside of Zion National Park, one of the top places on my bucket list. This cabin had everything I needed for a spectacular four days that I was there. The bed was beyond comfy, and the huge, clear window allowed me to see the mountains as I fell asleep, and again, in amazing light, when I woke up. The grill and little kitchen station on the deck was perfect for me to cook up some grilled veggies, while getting to enjoy them while watching an incredible sunset light up the red rocks in the backyard. Oh, and did I mention that the “backyard” is all BLM land, meaning that it is completely public and open for anyone to go hiking, four-wheeling, camping, or biking? It is truly in the perfect spot. A little under an hour away from Zion, but the drive there will leave your jaw-dropped the whole time with the truly stunning views out each window. Mindy, the host, was unbelievably kind and accommodating! Any time I reached out to her with a question she was extremely quick with her responses. Only ten minutes from a grocery store, gas station and only five minutes from a cute coffee shop, this place is a must-stay if you ever find yourself in the area!
